02.11.11Major New Acquisition
We are very proud to announce the acquisition of a major new service as part of the ongoing expansion of both Autism Care UK and the wider Maria Mallaband Care Group.
‘Alexandra Park’ on the picturesque Northumberland coast became the newest member of the Autism Care UK family of services on 31st October. It comprises a small group house and individual bungalows providing support for up to 32 people. Highly individualised packages of support will be offered as the site is ‘dual registered’ to offer either residential care or supported living for people with Autism or a complex Learning Disability.
Operations Director Gary Thompson said;
"This is exciting news for Autism Care and this investment by our organisation reflects the faith that purchasers, families, and the people we support have in the quality of services we provide."
"I would also like to welcome all of the Alexandra Park staff who will be transferring to Autism Care from Active Care Partnerships and to also thank those colleagues who were involved in securing this significant acquisition for our organisation"
