HistoryFor over 13 years Autism Care have been providing services to people with an autistic spectrum condition and associated learning disabilities.

Our experience in working with Autism has enabled us to grow and develop our service by listening to the people we support, their families and the professionals that we work in close partnership with.

Our quality assurance system is robust and is based around evaluating outcomes for individuals on a personalised level. We have invested in external quality assurance measures such as accreditation by the National Autistic Society to enhance our credibility and ensure our high standards.

We now have a national network of services providing a wide range of support needed by individuals and so it is important for us to continue to develop and progress. We endeavour to provide a range of services based on the needs of the individual as we firmly believe in choice. We aim to steer away from a 'one size fits all' approach, as we understand that every individual is different - we adhere to the specific needs of each individual we care for.

At Autism Care, the service user is at the heart of all we do. However we also know the importance of support to all the family and our commitment to supporting families will remain at the forefront of the service we provide. We encourage clear and open communication with everyone concerned with our service users' well being.

Above all, ACUK wants the people we support to have every opportunity to lead fulfilled and happy lives.
