Rother Heights' bungalows have been carefully designed with the complex needs of its residents in mind. Each bedroom has an ensuite shower and features one of three calming colour schemes. Each home is decorated to stimulate the senses, with features such as coloured lighting, carpeting, tactile furnishings, vaulted ceilings and unique architecture. Each internal door has a visual description affixed to describe the room, to ease the mind of the resident. 

In addition to the bedrooms, each bungalow has a main office, kitchen, dining room, laundry facilities, house bathroom, spacious lounge and a large conservatory with French windows leading into the garden. The conservatory hosts games, arts and crafts and other activities. All furniture is durable and contemporary.

The safety of service users is of the utmost importance, so every bungalow is fitted with a wide range of modern safety features. These include inset shower heads, privacy screens and safety catches on windows, soft plastic door architraves (to prevent trapped fingers) and lockable kitchen cupboards. Bedroom windows are fitted with magnetic curtain poles, and stimulating artwork is securely affixed to the wall. The lighting and water supply in each room is controlled by a remote panel in the bungalow's office for additional safety.
