The Barn is a specialist unit providing care and supervision for eleven adults who have been diagnosed with a higher level of ASD. With encouragement and support, residents of The Barn have been able to maximise their independence, build on their social skills and eventually achieve integration into the community securing independent living placements and maximum community involvement. The Barn has strong links with local colleges where residents can pursue various educational courses. Where appropriate, we also help residents secure suitable voluntary and paid employment opportunities.
