The Lodge will be extended and divided into two six-bedded units. This redevelopment is a result of sensory and behavioural assessments, which have shown that this will aid the compatibility and management of individuals who display complex and challenging behaviours. The redeveloped Lodge is due for completion in April 2009.
The Barn will undergo minor alterations, which will give it a greater focus for independent living opportunities. Its redesign will include two distinct living areas for a reduced number of service users. The work is due to be completed in November 2008.
A new house called The Paddocks is due to be completed by September 2008, but due to other houses being renovated, it will not be able to take on new service users until April 2009. The Paddocks will be split into two distinct living areas, with four and three bedrooms respectively, for compatible individuals with similar needs.
