Our organisation

Autism Care UK is the specialist care division of the Maria Mallaband Care Group, which is based in Leeds.

In total the organisation operates over 50 support services throughout the British Isles.

Every service is rated by CQC (Care Quality Commission) as either good or excellent, which reinforces Autism Care's excellent reputation as a high-quality care provider.

The company is owned and operated by Mr Phil Burgan, who is the Chairman and the CEO. It was established in 1996 and has grown steadily via both acquisition and organic growth.

Our aim is to provide high-quality, cost effective specialist care across the UK. We believe we fulfil this from the comprehensive support solutions delivered in our residential settings to the minimal outreach on-call support solutions that are delivered by us across the country.

We invest in the training and development of our staff to provide personalised bespoke care packages within a portfolio of specialist services. We feel this is an important element to maximise their independence and support them to achieve outcomes within the framework of their lives.

Autism Care currently provides specialist care in six areas of the country, providing quality services including outreach, supported living, day opportunities and comprehensive support solutions.

We are currently also developing 'step through' services in two other areas in consultation with local authorities. This will further develop the skill base of the service user to help them into supported living.
