Non Abusive Psychological and Physical Intervention (N.A.P.P.I.)

At Autism Care we use N.A.P.P.I. as our primary prevention strategy, which enables us to work with people who have significant behavioural challenges, in a person centred way.

This approach emphasises the prevention of challenging behaviour in a proactive way by engaging the people we support in meaningful and proactive activities.

Accredited by the British Institute for Learning Disabilities, N.A.P.P.I. training is implemented using our own qualified instructors and enables staff to respond to specific triggers and anxieties.
